title: “Quickstart” description: “Create a track, take your first exercise, and get a debrief.”

Get value in two minutes. No background needed.

1) Pick your goal

When you open Socratify, choose what you’re working toward:
  • Get a job or internship
  • Get promoted
  • Sharpen my thinking
If you already have a specific role or company in mind, select it. Not sure? Pick the closest option — Socratify adapts.

2) Create your track

Socratify builds a track for your goal with a clear sequence of short exercises. Each level ends with a RealPlay — a realistic, capstone scenario that makes you integrate multiple skills. Tip: Advanced users can jump straight to RealPlay; beginners start with Learn exercises to build foundations.

3) Take your first exercise

Each exercise lasts about 2–3 minutes and follows a simple flow:
  • Context: A situation to think through
  • Debate: 1–3 questions where you answer in your own words
  • Debrief: Targeted feedback and next steps
Use voice or text — whatever feels natural. There’s no “perfect” answer; what matters is your reasoning.

4) Read your debrief

Your debrief highlights what you covered well, what to try next time, and how your response maps to skills. You’ll earn XP and add evidence toward your skill targets.

5) Build a streak

Two great ways to get results:
  • Daily: 1–2 exercises for consistent growth
  • Deep work: A 15–20 minute session to prep for interviews or presentations
You’ll see progress accumulate on your skill matrix as you practice.
